How to book Story

  1. Book directly on OpenTable

Story takes reservations on OpenTable. Start there: pick your party size and date, and book any time that works. OpenTable lists it as Casual Elegant, dress code: smart casual.

  2. Be flexible on the night and time

Prime-time weekend tables at Story go first. Weeknights, early seatings and late seatings are the easiest to find.

  3. Watch for cancellations

When Story shows nothing open, plans still change. Tables come back when other diners cancel, often a day or two ahead, and they go fast.

  4. Let TableWatch watch for you

Set the nights, time window and party size in the TableWatch app. We check OpenTable around the clock and push you the moment a matching table opens. You book it on OpenTable in your own account.

About Story

At Restaurant Story the premise is simple; we seek to tell our story through the food we serve. We opened in April 2013 gaining our first Michelin star only five months after opening and in 2021 we were awarded our second Michelin star. Finally in 2023 we launched Story 3.0 hosting a 2nd floor. Inspired by chef Tom Sellers’ culinary career and the history of British food, our dishes are an edible story, each one inspired by a memory. We want to share these memories with you through what you see, smell and taste. To help achieve this, we select only the freshest seasonal British produce and then pair it with an exclusive wine list featuring small wine producers and select British craft ales sourced locally.
